Hey everyone, I hope you all enjoyed last week's episode. I'm looking forward to creating more episodes of that length with that much content in the future, but for this week we're back to our 30 minute or so podcast. But that doesn't mean we didn't bring the content, because oh yeah, we brought it again.
This week in games we've been playing I talk about Troyes, DrachenStark, Animal Upon Animal and Isle of Skye,
Joining us this week with their inaugural segment on the show are the two creators of the Cardboard Architects Podcast, Chris Renshall and Joe Brogno. They are going to talk a bit about the games they've been playing, but they are going to talk about those games from a designer point of view, which is something really cool for us here as I'm not a designer. They talk Tiny Epic Galaxies, Pandemic The Cure, Castle Panic and Telestrations.
You can find Chris and Joe on Twitter @TGIKGames and @TheBlueMuzzy and also you can find The Cardboard Architects on Twitter at @cbapodcast. Give 'em a follow but most of all, give them a listen!!
We get some Kickstarter talk about Campaign Trail, World's Fair 1893, The Great Dinosaur Rush. We also talk a little about some upcoming launches as well, Scythe, Mayday's Crokinole Kickstarter and Morocco.
Then I finish my Spiel preview with 5 more titles to look out for:
Then at the 23:23 mark Eric Booth joins us to tell us a little about himself and how board gaming has helped him with his anxiety issues. Fantastic stuff from Eric and I hope to hear more about this in the future.
We wrap up the show by announcing the winner of the Codenames contest, we ended up totaling 258 entries so I thank you all for participating, it was a lot of fun and it really makes me want to run another contest like this in the near future, so keep your ears and eyes peeled!!
